Introduction
The Vice Chancellor, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) has very kindly authorized Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) to extend Partial Research Support to Postgraduate students on case to case basis through a committee after passing through a rigorous evaluation process followed by presentation by the applicant. Following SOPs will be followed for availing this Partial Research Support opportunity.
- M.Phil and MS/M.Sc.(Hons.) students should apply in the 3rd Semester and PhD scholar should apply during the planning of thesis research on the prescribed proforma designed by ORIC having information regarding CGPA, current research status, number and names of all students with the supervisors, impact of research and tentative outcome of the research.
- Partial Research Support may be extended to postgraduate students while preference may be given to PhD scholars.
- The supervisor of the student winning Partial Research Support will not designate him/herself as Principal Investigator of the project.
- A high profile committee (approved by the Vice Chancellor) comprising of representatives from all the faculties will evaluate the applications and students through screening process followed by presentations.
- Funds (Partial Research Support) may only be provided for consumables on rationalized grounds.
